J.V Consulting was founded in 2024 by Jamie, a transport professional with extensive industry experience and a genuine passion for the bus and coach sector.

Jamie began his career in 2014 as a professional driver, having self-funded his PCV (Category D) licence. This hands-on operational background has given him a strong, practical understanding of frontline transport operations.

As his career progressed, Jamie developed a keen interest in supporting bus and coach operators beyond the driving role. He has since gained broad and varied experience across network planning, operations management, and marketing and publicity production, working with both small independent operators and large national organisations.

More recently, Jamie has held a senior commercial role as a Network Planning Manager, working at the heart of commercial strategy to design efficient, customer-focused transport networks.

This combination of operational insight and commercial expertise underpins the consultancy’s practical, results-driven approach.
